Mercury Rx actually gives us an opportunity to heal unresolved cords in communication. Our relationships will likely have things surface in this time and there could potentially be people from the past that show up. Look out! There are loose cords that need to be worked with, because healing is NOT linear. Sometimes we have unfinished business to completely heal and end cycles in our lives.

On Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at 2:37pm EST the Moon will be Full in the zodiac sign of Capricorn. Which means that the Sun and Moon will be opposite of each other.

Capricorn is a sign ruled by the planet Saturn. I often tell my clients that Saturn is the strict father. So Capricorn definitely brings all the Daddy vibes. This Divine Masculine energy works very hard to reach goals and will climb the tallest mountains to get there. Being the final Earth sign in the zodiac, Capricorn reflects a maturity and also connects us to the industry.

This Moon will also be forming a Trine to the North Node. So we are being called to let go of what blocks us from our dreams and go for them! There is harmony present if we will do the work. We are right in the midst of Gemini season which brings so much chatty energy. We are socializing, connecting, and may even be making new friends.

Algol currently is ♉️ 26° & Mercury ♉️ 26°.

The fixed star Algol is associated with intense emotions, pain, suffering, & violence. It is a demon star

Mercury is the planet of communication. It is the communicator to the Sun / ego. It is currently in retrograde, appearing to be going backwards from the Sun. So this can bring situations in the mental realms that ask us to grow.

Communication, travel, contracts, technology, etc. things that support communication.

We are or in the recent weeks have been called to have challenging conversations and look at things in new ways. This can be a wonky period in the head space if not leaning in to grow.

However Algol and Mercury are making contact. Take note or where there are intense emotions. Notice how you respond or how others respond around you.

The Johnny Depp & Amber Heard trial really speaks volumes to this energy too. Everyone is talking about it. The alcohol abuse and violence (Algol). All of the stories, the talking, and deciding what is fair and just for this situation (Mercury). Clearly the whole thing has retrograde vibes too. What can we as a collective learn from this?

So basically….

Mercury & Algol are touching. We must be cautious today to make sure we are in good headspace before having conversations. Especially heated conversations. Accidents or violence may come up today if not well rested or in a good mental space.

It’s okay not to engage in conversations that do not have goals to resolve issues in healthy ways. It’s also okay to recognize that you may not respond in a healthy way if you do engage.

No response is a response.

Tomorrow Mercury goes direct and will still be touching Algol. So take care of yourself! Your mental health matters.

Whew! What a journey it has been. I am 1 day late for the New Moon post. However, this energy is always potent and can be tuned into for many days after the transit.

We also just stepped out of a powerful eclipse season that has brought incredible shifts to our lives. As a Cancer Rising, this is going through my 12th house. So I have been off in the clouds.

It is the New Moon so we are all tapping into new beginnings. Our spiritual reset is here to help us release past energies and move forward.

This is all happening in Gemini too! A sign that is very intellectual, curious, and open minded. However, keep in mind that we have Mars and Jupiter snuggled up in Aries which reflects this deep drive to honor the self and fight for what we want.
